Child Witness to Violence
The Child Witness to Violence Project provides individual counselling and support groups, primarily for the children of abused spouses or for children who have otherwise witnessed abuse. The program also offers supportive counselling to parents/caregivers of these children and public education in the community.

Resources for persons affected by crime and violence. Lists the community-based counselling programs for those who have experienced sexual assault, relationship violence, elder and childhood abuse. A range of individual and group counselling services may be available.

The Research and Training Center on Family Support and Children's Mental Health was established in 1984 at Portland State University, Portland, Oregon. BC Association of Clinical Counsellors
The BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC) was incorporated in 1988 with the principal goal of regulating the professional practice of Clinical Counsellors in the province of British Columbia.

BC Association of Social Workers
BCASW is a voluntary, not-for-profit membership association that supports and promotes the profession of social work and advocates for social justice. BCASW is one of eight provincial/territorial social work associations belonging to the Canadian Association of Social Workers.

Ending Violence Association of BC
The mandate of EVA BC is to provide support and training, undertake research, develop and distribute resources and tools, educate the public and government bodies on the needs of victims of violence, develop and maintain standards for the provision of service, and foster the development of cross-sectoral coordination and collaboration.

Inclusion BC
A non-profit organization working with partners to build community and to enhance the lives of children, youth and adults with developmental disabilities and their families by supporting abilities, promoting action and advancing rights, responsibilities and social justice.
