Analysts Style Manual
Created by Mercyhurst College, Institute for Intelligence Studies. "The Analyst’s Style Manual is a product intended to assist student analysts with the many perplexing and complex rules they should follow in producing written intelligence products."

Bureau of Counterterrorism
As part of the U.S. Department of State, this office develops and implements counterterrorism policies and works with other foreign governments in response to any terrorist event.

Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS)
Government organization focused upon safeguarding Canada and its citizens through the development of national security programs such as counter-terrorism, counter-intelligence and security screening

Central Intelligence Agency (CIA)
An independent government agency that oversees national security intelligence for United States policymakers.

Communications Security Establishment Canada
Canada's cryptologic agency that provides foreign signals intelligence (SIGINT) in support of defence and foreign policy, and the protection of electronic information and communication (Information Technology (IT) Security).

Federal Bureau of Investigation
As an intelligence-driven and a threat-focused national security organization with both intelligence and law enforcement responsibilities, the mission of the FBI is to protect and defend the United States against terrorist and foreign intelligence threats, to uphold and enforce the criminal laws of the United States, and to provide leadership and criminal justice services to federal, state, municipal, and international agencies and partners.

Global Terrorism Database 
The Global Terrorism Database (GTD) is an open-source database including information on terrorist events around the world from 1970 through 2007 (with annual updates planned for the future).
