These courses are designed to review and enhance the drivers’ confidence and skill level. Training will challenge participants to further develop their vehicle handling and will review vehicle limitations and capabilities as well as their own. This is completed through observing and practicing collision avoidance techniques and experiencing the challenges of decision-reaction exercises and associated vehicle dynamics. All training is designed for drivers who operate emergency vehicles.

Options Include:

 Half Day Practical (track training only)

◆ Drivers will complete a minimum of five exercises focusing on vehicle handling and decision-reaction

 

One Day Practical (on-road and track training)

◆ A hybrid of on road collision avoidance driving and track driving focusing on vehicle handling and decision-reaction exercises

 

Half Day Theory and Half Day Practical (classroom and track training)

◆ The classroom session reviews the importance of driving attitude, preventable accidents and traffic law

◆ Drivers will complete a minimum of five exercises focusing on vehicle handling and decision reaction
