Continuing your public safety education and training at JIBC
JIBC designs, develops and delivers courses and programs that fulfill the continuing professional development requirements for a wide range of public safety professionals including law enforcement officers, firefighters, paramedics, emergency managers, and correctional officers.
Accessing your student information
As of July 1, 2015, JIBC implemented a new Student Information System. If you have registered for a JIBC course or program since then, you will have received a new JIBC Student Number that starts with the letter 'j' (ex. j0001234) and will be able to access your student information via the myJIBC Portal.
If you have not completed a course or program since July 1, 2015, there are various options available to retrieve your student information, such as tax receipts and transcripts, and to obtain a new JIBC Student Number. These options are available on our Registration Help page for Returning Students.
As part of the implementation fo the new Student Information System, JIBC course codes have also changed. If you are familiar with an old code for a JIBC course, you can search for the new code using our dedicated Course Code Search webpage.
