Credit Union Foundation of BC Bursary

The Credit Union Foundation of British Columbia is the provincial wide philanthropic organization of the credit union system founded and funded by British Columbia credit union members. The purpose of the Credit Union Foundation of BC Bursary is to provide tuition support to deserving students in financial need taking a JIBC certificate, diploma or degree program.

Value

One award of $1,000 will be available annually.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Be enrolled and in good standing in a JIBC certificate (10 credits or more), diploma or degree program.
  • Demonstrate financial need not met by other available sources of funding including student loans, grants, sponsorship, work income, etc.

Application Process 

Download an application form for completion.

Students will be notified whether or not they have been selected 2-4 weeks after the application deadline. This notification will include information on how funds are disbursed.

Note: Failure to complete all sections of the application form may result in disqualification of your application. Any misrepresentation will result in a penalty which could include, but is not limited to, expulsion from your program, ineligibility to be considered for future awards and forfeit any outstanding awards.
